Someone has well said; "Your temper is one of your most valuable possessions. Don't lose it". None of us need to look very far to see the negative effects of uncontrolled anger. Take for example this classified ad:

ANGER WON'T FIX ITSELF ... like a flat tire or dirty diaper. I read about an eagle that swooped to the ground one day, catching a weasel in its powerful talons. But when it flew away, its wings inexplicably went limp and it dropped to the ground like a lifeless doll. As it turned out, the weasel had bitten its attacker in midflight, killing the proud eagle as it flew. If we cling to an attitude of anger or jealousy, it will, like the weasel, sink its teeth into us when we least expect it.
The Bible has a lot to say about anger and its devastating results. It also tells us how we can exercise victory over it, with help from the One, "Who is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy." Psalm 103:8.
Is it time for you to start trusting the only One who can help you?
